The SET Council (Social Service, Environment and Technology Council) of St. Xavier’s College is organising its 4th SET Cycle Rally on February 4, 2017. The rally would commence from St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar and would traverse an approximate distance of 25 km covering all three districts in the Kathmandu valley. More than 300 participants are expected to join the rally, according to the organisers. The rally also sees the support of traffic police and Kathmandu Cycle City (KCC).
SET’s approach converts to a fundraiser this year to support surgery of Rithwik Lama Tamang who had lost his hearing abilities due to acute meningitis. A registration fee of NRs 250 has been allocated to participate in the event.
The SET Council has been known for conducting SET Exhibition for the last 21 years which is pivotal to students opening their creative ideas to the general public.
